IN DETAIL : OPERATIONS

Sound Leisure Ltd Operations was launched in 1984. The prime reason for the addition of an operation division was to provide a clear source of feedback from the customers and engineers using Sound Leisure Ltd products on a day to day basis. It was felt by Alan Black, founder of Sound Leisure Ltd, that operating SL equipment would be the finest quality control mechanism possible. Sound Leisure Ltd remains the only jukebox manufacturing company to operate an extensive estate, giving us invaluable data on the performance and reliability of our products.

Sound Leisure Ltd Operations department is a well respected and firmly established service provider.

OPERATIONS STAFF

COLLECTIONS STAFF
All collection staff are experienced personnel.
Regular training and appraisal ensures cash and security are maintained as high priority responsibilities, along with machine cleanliness, health and safety issues and personal appearance. This department has relief staff and is supervised by an experienced collections supervisor.

ROAD ENGINEERS
All engineers have a mix of mechanical and electronics background and have the huge advantage of regular factory training. Again, machine appearance, operational effectiveness and health and safety issues are paramount. All engineers are connected to base via Radio, pager and mobile phone.

OPERATIONS HEAD OFFICE TEAM
Dedicated team consists of management and general office staff employed to collate and input data and handle day to day service and administration duties.

The entire department is overlooked by a highly experienced Operations Manager with a wealth of operating experience in the leisure industry. Sound Leisure Ltd has a combined work force of 150 people, 23 of whom are employed in the Operations Department.

TIME FOR CHANGE

Sound Leisure Ltd Operations are actively pushing forward the upgrade of CD Jukeboxes to Digital wherever possible because of the greater benefits to all parties, which are:
